Orpheus is an all-inclusive, private island lodge located in the Great Barrier Reef. The island comprises more than 1,000 hectares of national park, is surrounded by pristine fringing reef and is a secluded, unspoiled tropical paradise offering pure island escapism.
The lodge offers 14 contemporary suites of varying sizes, all with views over the Coral Sea. Beachfront villas accommodate up to four guests and are perfect for families while the smaller bungalow-style rooms are understatedly luxurious, just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Throughout the design is minimal and stylish, with cool whites offset by warm natural timber and accents of coastal inspired colour. Facilities include an infinity pool, spa, library, games rooms and dive shop and degustation menus are designed daily by the executive chef. Across the board there is a strong focus on nature and conservation and the lodge embraces the natural environment thanks to a tireless commitment to sustainability.
This idyllic island provides unrivalled access to exclusive, untouched areas of the Great Barrier Reef and its principal dive sites boast 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish found on the reef.
