This boutique heritage property is a restored 19th-century haveli offering an authentic experience of Udaipur’s rich history and artistic spirit. From its stunning rooftop terrace, you will gaze out over a tapestry of ancient rooftops with the Aravalli hills providing a majestic backdrop, particularly magical at sunrise and sunset.
The haveli’s inner courtyards, framed by carved stone archways and delicate jali screens, offer tranquil spaces where you can unwind beneath the shade of neem and frangipani trees, accompanied by the soft trickle of fountains. Each corner reveals intricate frescoes and traditional Rajasthani design, creating an authentic sense of place that feels both intimate and grand. The atmosphere is one of gentle seclusion, yet you remain just steps from the vibrant heart of the old city.
The haveli’s rooftop restaurant is a destination in itself, where you can savour traditional vegetarian dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients while enjoying panoramic views. The terrace transforms at night, lit by lanterns and the glow of the city beyond, making it a perfect setting for relaxed dining under the stars. Inside, the spaces are adorned with rich textiles, hand-painted walls, and elegant wooden furniture, creating a warm and inviting ambience. The courtyards double as peaceful spots for morning tea or an afternoon lassi.
