The hotel is separated into two parts – the original 1940s house and a newer wing, built in in the 1980s – but they blend seamlessly with wood paneling, open fireplaces and stained glass windows depicting birds and flowers—Medina’s passions. The accommodation ranges from standard rooms to palatial suites but even within the same range each room is unique thanks to the quirkiness of the original building. All enjoy stylish heritage-meets-modern... décor, oversized beds and luxurious linens, and some have open fireplaces, ideal for a cozy evening in. The spa offers a range of treatments including the signature Colombian Green Coffee Wrap, and the onsite restaurant, ‘Castanyoles’, serves Mediterranean inspired dishes and cocktails under a beautiful glass atrium.
The hotel sits equidistant between the historic old town La Candelaria in the south and Zona T, the hub of the city’s nightlife, in the north. A number of the continent’s best restaurants are within easy walking distance.
