Four Seasons

Casa Medina

Bogota, Colombia

Colonial meets contemporary

The 1946 building which houses Four Seasons Casa Medina is located just steps from the buzzing financial district and the gourmet paradise of the Zona G. Designed by Colombian artist-architect Santiago Medina Mejia, it boasts some of the most quietly elegant rooms in the city, despite being in the heart of one of Bogotá’s trendiest districts.

The hotel is separated into two parts – the original 1940s house and a newer wing, built in in the 1980s – but they blend seamlessly with wood paneling, open fireplaces and stained glass windows depicting birds and flowers—Medina’s passions. The accommodation ranges from standard rooms to palatial suites but even within the same range each room is unique thanks to the quirkiness of the original building. All enjoy stylish heritage-meets-modern...
