Linyanti Ebony is a small tented camp which accommodates a maximum of just ten guests between three twin-bedded tents and one family room, all built on elevated decking with stunning views of the Linyanti’s lagoons. The well–appointed tents all have a comfortable sofa, writing desk and en-suite facilities. The main area offers an expansive lounge and dining area, a sparkling plunge pool, and a cosy fire circle and boma. The entire design is authentic and eco-conscious.
Specialist... guides lead a diverse range of water and land activities throughout the year. These include game drives in open 4WD vehicles, walking excursions, boating, mokoro (dug out canoe) excursions and fishing. Scenic flights can be arranged. The area is known for the large populations of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers especially during the dry season. You are also likely to spot lion, sable, roan, leopard and wild dog as well the rare and elusive sitatunga – a semi-aquatic antelope which inhabits the marshes.
The Linyanti Swamps is the only source of water in the dry months when numerous wildlife species moves in, boasting a great diversity of game and superb wildlife viewing.
