This is the Baobab capital of the world where the average age of each tree is 4000 years, and the boundless salt pans of the Makgadikgadi, a lunar landscape the size of Switzerland, lie beyond.
You can enjoy game drives onto the salt pans and ride quad bikes into nothingness. A treat is the ability to spend a night sleeping under the stars in the middle of the Pans. Also on offer are walks with the... local Bushmen and the chance to experience an unforgettable interaction with a gang of Meerkats. Near to the camp is a village and visits to the local school can be arranged. Accommodation is a traditionally styled mud Kalanga hut with private bathroom and three night packages include all meals and activities.
There is a ’funky’ contemporary African styled bar and dining room area, which is perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the Makgadikgadi Pans. Nearby there is a uniquely designed pool with views across the many baobabs that dot the camp.
