As a Relais & Chateaux property it offers exceptional service, chic styling and exquisite dining, but retains its rustic charm to offer a harmonious blend of luxury and authenticity. Surrounded by tall eucalyptus trees and dramatic mountains, the 28 ’casitas’ (bungalows) are set among flower-filled gardens and are decorated in traditional Andean style. They feature hand-turned wooden furniture... and Peruvian works of art alongside marble bathrooms and oversized beds dressed in luxurious linens. Each bungalow has a small private veranda and some boast Jacuzzis with views over the Sacred Valley. There is a cosy bar and restaurant serving local and international cuisine of the highest standard, designed to reflect the advanced farming methods of the Inca people and mirror the changing seasons. Facilities also include a small swimming pool, gym and spa.
The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a beautiful stretch of small villages and ancient ruins spread across a broad plain and rugged mountain slopes. You can explore the area on foot, on horseback or by bike, quadbike or kayak. A gastronomy class with Sol Y Luna’s chef will awaken your tastebuds and paragliding over the Andes will take your breath away.
