The Tree of Life Resort & Spa encompasses all that Varanasi is, with a twist – it is your oasis of peace and calm after the often over-whelming experience of the crowds, the noise and the traffic of the city.

Situated in rural surroundings the Tree of Life Resort is conveniently located equidistant from Varanasi airport, the city centre (Cantt/Ghats) and Sarnath – arguably the most important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists.

The resort is an all-suite property designed with local style – high ceilings, teak wood carved furniture, a feature wall complete with a hand painted Shiva, deluxe ensuite facilities and a large private sit-out overlooking the gardens and the unique ‘Ganga Kund’ – a replica of the traditional steps that lead to the River Ganga known as ghats. With water blessed from the River Ganga the Ganga Kund you can witness morning and evening prayer ceremonies within the grounds of the resort itself.

There are two dining spaces – AnnTripti, offering local Banarasi signature dishes, along with global cuisine; and CheekuVrish where dinner can be enjoyed by a crackling fire, beneath the stars or under the warm winter sun during the day.

Aside from visits to the holy Ganges River and city of Varanasi the resort also offers a plethora of experiences from a ‘back to basics’ wander through the local village to shopping for fresh produce in the market before learning the delightful art of Indian cooking with a chef. You can participate in early morning or evening yoga, pamper yourself in the Ekam Spa, travel to Sarnath to walk in the steps of Buddha or take a horse drawn buggy thorgh the Varanasi countryside.
