Argentina’s diverse regions from Pampas to Patagonia

Ibera Wetlands

Argentina’s largest natural reserve, the Esteros del Ibera wetlands, are a haven for wildlife. The lakes, lagoons and marshlands are home to over 350 bird species and some of South America’s most iconic wildlife including capybaras, caimans, howler monkeys, giant otters and even a growing population of jaguars. Horseride with local gauchos to access the remotest reaches, fly-fish for dorado or climb into a boat or canoe for up-close wildlife encounters and bird watching from the water.

Mendoza & the Wine Region

Mendoza is one of the greatest wine regions of the world. With over 144,000ha of planted vineyards it produces nearly two-thirds of the country’s wine and some of Argentina’s most highly rated Malbecs originate from its high-altitude wine regions of Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Iguazú Falls

Sitting on the border between Argentina and Brazil the incredible Iguazú Falls are one of the world's most wondrous (and deafening) sights. Standing some 80m high and 3km wide, the falls are made up of many cascades that generate vast sprays of water and produce one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Sitting within the UNESCO world Heritage Site of Iguazú National Park (named Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side) they are enveloped by thick tropical rainforest teeming with toucans and tapirs.
